Why are the Shortage report (order simulation) and Receipts forecast report not in both EManEx and ManEx?

The reason why these reports are in eManEx and not in ManEx is:

ManEx deals with transactional data and storage of those data.  eManEx's purpose is to offer data-mining or data intelligence for customers, suppliers, management and supervisors.  Second purpose is the collaboration tool between your company and customers and suppliers.

The reason we designed this tool was because customers call all the time asking what if I want to build 50 more of a particular assembly and when can you do it?  Customer support or program manager has to get the BOM, check inventory for each item, see what the possible shortages are and then review the lead times for the shortages.  To accomplish this task, generally this takes several hours to a day depending on the complexity of the assembly.  Program manager provides this data to the customer and many times they are not happy that it took you 2 or 3 days to get back to them (program managers are normally busy so they don't have much time to do this kind of thing).

This tool was created so customers can run this without having to bother you and they have the information they want within a minute and not have to wait 2-3 days to get the answer.  The customer is much happier to have a CM partner like this who offers this kind of service creating a tighter relationship.
